PART I – CUSTOMER TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Introduction

Welcome to Vintage Relocation (“Vintage Relocation”, “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

These Terms & Conditions govern all relocation, packing, transportation, shifting, and related services provided by Vintage Relocation to individuals and businesses (“Customer”, “Client”, “you”, or “your”).

By confirming a booking, making payment, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Scope of Services

Vintage Relocation provides relocation and logistics services including but not limited to:

• Household Shifting

• Office Relocation

• Packing and Unpacking

• Loading and Unloading

• Local and Intercity Transportation

• Storage and Warehousing Support

• Vehicle Transportation

Services are subject to operational availability and serviceable locations.

3. Booking Confirmation & Advance Payment

• A booking shall be considered confirmed only upon payment of the required advance amount.

• A minimum booking amount of ₹1000 is required to confirm the booking.

• Quotations are valid for a limited period unless otherwise specified.

• Any change in inventory, pickup/drop location, floor access, or service requirements may result in revised pricing.

4. Payment Terms

• 90% of the total payment is due on the day of loading.

• The remaining 10% payment must be completed immediately after unloading.

• Payments must be made through approved payment methods only.

• Payments cannot be withheld under any circumstances due to minor concerns, delays, or normal wear and tear.

• Any disputes regarding services shall be resolved separately through appropriate legal channels.

Late or pending payments may result in service delays, withholding of delivery, or additional charges.

5. Additional Charges

The quotation provided includes only the services specifically mentioned therein.

The following may attract additional charges:

• Extra packing material

• Additional labor

• Staircase or long-distance carrying charges

• Crane or special handling

• Waiting charges

• Additional pickup/drop points

• Dismantling or installation services

• Extra vehicle requirements

• Third-party services

If additional items require arrangement of another vehicle or additional manpower, the full additional cost shall be borne by the Customer.

6. Packing Materials & Responsibility

Standard packing materials include cartons, bubble wrap, stretch film, tape, and protective coverings.

If excessive or additional packing materials are required beyond the standard scope, such materials will be charged separately as per applicable rates.

Vintage Relocation shall not be responsible for:

• Damage to self-packed items

• Internal mechanical/electrical defects

• Fragile items packed without prior declaration

• Perishable or prohibited goods

7. Insurance & Liability

• Transit insurance is optional and available upon customer request.

• Insurance charges are generally applicable at 3% of the billing amount unless otherwise specified by the insurer.

• Customers declining insurance do so entirely at their own risk.

Vintage Relocation is not liable for:

• Minor scratches, dents, or normal wear and tear occurring during handling or transit

• Damage caused by poor packing of self-packed goods

• Mechanical or electrical malfunction of electronic appliances after transit

• Loss caused by natural calamities, accidents, riots, strikes, or uncontrollable circumstances

In the unlikely event of major damage, claims shall only be processed through the insurance provider subject to policy terms and conditions. Vintage Relocation’s liability shall remain limited to ₹2500, if applicable.

8. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

• Provide accurate inventory and address details

• Declare fragile, valuable, or high-risk items in advance

• Ensure proper access and parking arrangements

• Be present during packing, loading, and unloading or appoint an authorized representative

• Verify delivered goods before signing delivery acknowledgment

Customers must not transport:

• Cash

• Gold, silver, or jewelry

• Firearms or explosives

• Hazardous chemicals

• Narcotics or illegal substances

• Perishable goods

• Important documents without prior declaration

Vintage Relocation shall not be responsible for undeclared valuables.

9. Delays & Force Majeure

While Vintage Relocation aims to meet committed timelines, delivery schedules are estimates only.

The Company shall not be liable for delays caused by:

• Traffic conditions

• Weather conditions

• Vehicle breakdowns

• Government restrictions

• Strikes or labor disruptions

• Natural disasters

• Events beyond reasonable control

Such events shall constitute Force Majeure conditions.

10. Cancellations & Refund Policy

Relocation Services Cancellation:

• Less than 24 hours before move – No refund

• The booking advance may be treated as non-refundable in urgent or specially arranged bookings.

• Rescheduling is subject to operational availability.

11. Third-Party Services

Any third-party services including:

• Storage

• Crane handling

• Carpentry

• Electrician services

• Cleaning services

• Vehicle transportation partners

shall be charged additionally and may be governed by their own terms and conditions.

Vintage Relocation acts only as a coordinator for such services and shall not be responsible for third-party negligence or delays.

12. Damage Reporting

• Any visible damage must be reported immediately at the time of delivery and noted on the delivery sheet.

• Hidden damages, if any, must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with proper photographs and evidence.

• Claims raised after this period may not be entertained.

13. Limitation of Liability

Vintage Relocation shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses

• Emotional distress or inconvenience

• Delays caused by uncontrollable circumstances

• Damages beyond ₹2500

14. Digital Acceptance

By making payment, confirming a booking, or communicating acceptance electronically, the Customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

Such acceptance shall be legally binding under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably between the parties.

If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

PART II – GENERAL CLAUSES

1.Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Exclusive jurisdiction shall lie with the competent courts of New Delhi, India.

2. Confidentiality

All customer information and operational details shall remain confidential except where disclosure is required by law.

3. Modification of Terms

Vintage Relocation reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Updated Terms shall become effective immediately upon publication or communication.

4. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the complete agreement between the Customer and Vintage Relocation and supersede any prior verbal or written discussions.

FINAL ACCEPTANCE

By booking or using the services of Vintage Relocation, the Customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted all Terms & Conditions stated herein.

Vintage Relocation
